What BIFF stores
- account details you provide, such as email when you create an account
- profile and onboarding preferences
- work schedule, wake target, and sleep target
- task definitions and generated task instances
- completion, skip, snooze, and reschedule history
- behavior stats and deterministic recommendation explanations
- notification events and push tokens when you allow notifications
What BIFF does not do in this MVP
- no wearable sync
- no passive surveillance
- no Google Calendar or Apple Calendar sync
- no LLM inside the live scheduling loop
How data is used
- calculate deterministic scheduling scores
- generate receipts and recap messages
- show why a recommendation was made
- keep notifications from sending twice or after a task changes
Third-party services
BIFF currently uses Firebase services for authentication, storage, and notification scaffolding. Additional hosting and infrastructure providers may be used to operate the product site and release workflows.
Your controls
You can edit tasks, preferences, work schedule, and most planner state directly in the app. You can also sign out, switch accounts, and delete your account from the current BIFF settings flow.
